At L P Window Controls, we take your privacy seriously. Your information will not be passed on to any companies for marketing purposes or used for reasons other than which is required to process your requests. Please see below for more information on how your data is handled.

When and what Data we collect:

We will collect your data when you contact us for quotes or services, via e-mail, phone, post or fax.

The only data we will collect from you is that which is required to fulfil your requests and allow us to process sales orders. This will be basic contact details (including but not limited to name, address, telephone number and email address), and never “Special category data” (gender, religion, etc.).

Where works are to be carried out, site addresses and photographic evidence of items may be required.

Purpose of processing:

We use this data to provide you with information based on, products, services and purchases that you have requested from us, and respond to questions or comments about our services. We may also use this information for site visits at request, and to send out invoices.

The lawful basis for this processing would be in compliance with GDPR article 6, 1, (b).

If we update our prices, we may contact you via e-mail under basis of legitimate interest with information of price changes.

Sharing your personal information?

As already stated, we will never sell your personal data to a third party. However, to comply with purchase requests we may share your information with TNT or other delivery company to deliver your goods. In this case we require they follow GDPR protocol to keep your data safe and not used for their own marketing.

Additional Information:

We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as you use the service you have requested, and remove it in the event that the purpose has been met, or if you wish us to erase your information where this will not conflict with a contractual arrangement.

• We accept that the information which we hold about you should be processed fairly and lawfully, should be accurate, relevant and not excessive, should not be retained for longer than is necessary and be kept up to date.
• You hold the right to object to us processing your information, if we are unable to we shall explain why.
